Fun with Daddy

Hi Everyone -
Daddy and I had fun with Mommy's new camera yesterday. Here are just a few of the great pictures he took of me when we got home from Grandma and Grandpa's!

Obviously playing all day wiped me out.


And I wake up to find that I'm outside and daddy is clicking away...

Hello World!!!!!

Look out world - Sophia is on the prowl! I'm getting into anything and everything I can get my hands on.

All of these pictures are long over due - but as you'll see - I've been a very busy girl!

First - I've been spending a lot of time with my best friend Gabby. We love each other VERY much.

I've also been exploring a lot lately. I now like to try things that mommy and daddy use.

Not sure what this is but I see mommy and daddy use it like this all the time.

Mommy gave me something called a sippy cup but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with it yet. I like to chew on it for now. I might let mommy take a picture of me trying to use it for the next post.

I also like playing and chewing on things in my exersaucer.

But for the most part it helps me strengthen my legs so that I can try to walk. This is how I tire Grandma out every day.

We also celebrated Grandma's birthday recently. So I got to go out to my first restaurant! It was fun!

I even had my own chair with toys!

But the BIGGEST event this past week was playing in my new kiddie pool! Ok - So day 1 with the pool was spent mostly outside of the pool. I wasn't too sure how I felt about all that water!

I thought about going in...


Gabby thought it was a BIG water dish!

But we had fun sitting around and thinking about going in =)


Day 2 at the pool - Had a lot more fun and played splish splash in the pool. Mommy was busy making sure I didn't fall over and daddy was having fun videotaping me. Once daddy figures out how to put the show online I will post it here too!

Ok - I will post more soon. Tomorrow I'm turning 7 months old and I'm sure mommy will take lots of pictures of me holding up a sign with me sitting in the rocking chair again.

The latest photoshoot with daddy =)

Hi Everyone - I can finally share with you all the latest photoshoot I had with Daddy. It was taken on Memorial Day in our backyard. Gabby unfortunately had to stay inside because mommy and daddy said she would make a mess. Maybe next time she can come and play.

MA MA MA MA MA

Hi Everyone - Since the last time we've posted I've turned 6 months old and I'm starting to babble a lot more now. My favorite phrase is MA MA MA MA MA, followed by BA BA BA BA along with a few other sounds that come out. Still trying to figure out how to get out DA DA DA DA but I'm not quite there yet.

Anyway - On with the show. Here are a few pictures of me on Mother's Day in my pretty dress. I also turned 6 months old on Mother's Day too!

Oh - And did I mention that I like to practice how to stand. Here is the first picture - but its hard for mommy to keep her hand on me and get a full body shot. So we will have to get daddy to take one soon!

Look out world - I've got TEETH!

Hi Everyone -
Sorry for the delay in posting the latest happenings. Things have been a little rough for mom and dad lately. Between me getting my first tooth last Tuesday, with the second shortly to follow last Thursday, I haven't been letting mom and dad sleep too much this past week. Oh - and lets not forget my tummy troubles too!

Anyway - As I promised here is a picture of me riding a pony! Oops I mean Tank!


And here is me giving mom and dad a clue that my first tooth is coming in a few days


I've also been learning a few new tricks since the last time we posted. I can now roll over from my tummy to my back. However, since I hate being on my tummy I chose not to roll over onto my tummy. Instead I just like to roll from side to side, grabbing and sucking my feet.


I've also been really interested in hats - I must get it from my mommy. Anyway - Here I am stealing my daddy's hat =)

Hi Everybody -
Another week has flown by and I thought I would share some of the latest excitement. Daddy was travelling for work this week so I just hung around with the cat.



I miss daddy when he's a away for so long.


Well - On Friday I went with Mommy and my Aunt Jessica to play with Gabby's Friends.


This is Gabby's boyfriend! His name is Tank, the english mastiff!


He's REALLY BIG but REALLY sweet too. When's Tanks mommy sends the picture of me riding him I'll put it up to show everyone =)


It was fun to see Gabby and all of the other doggies - Just when I thought Gabby was a big doggie ... turns out she's not so big!
